NEEDED! Outside Precinct Poll Greeters

This is an excellent opportunity for Democrats to be visible at Augusta County’s high voter precincts that have a history of Democratic turnout on Election Day, Nov. 5th

The ACDems Committee would like to staff up to 5 of these high turnout precincts with 2 staffers per 2-hour shift. Each tabletop will be supplied with candidates’ campaign material, ACDems general info, a Democratic SAMPLE Ballot all for handout and a signup sheet for possible new email contacts.

Please consider volunteering by taking a 2-hour shift or maybe consider staffing several different shifts at different polls. Let’s make this a really successful ACDems' 2024 Election Day at the Polls community effort.

IMPORTANT NOTES! Please read carefully!

One 7 – 9 am Greeter at each polling station is being asked to please provide a folding table. The campaign yard signs, tabletop committee info, & campaign materials will be arranged for drop off to or pick up by a designated 7 am poll greeter before Election Day. More details to follow once you sign up.

EACH Volunteer is responsible for bringing a folding chair for their use during their shift.

3- 5 PM Poll Greeters This is an important shift because it will smoothly end our ACDems’ 2024 Election Day at the Polls!

At 5 PM or until dark the poll greeter will remove the 4-6 Dems’ candidate campaign signs from the polling station, pack up the table & chair(s), remove & return material/supplies.

The plan may alter depending on which way is the best way to deliver the table back to its rightful owner. More details to follow once you sign up.
